Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site – Missouri

Col. Nathan Boone and his wife Olive, built this homestead in 1837. Nathan Boone was the son of the famous Daniel Boone and was a military officer. Nathan and Olive lived on the homestead until 1850s. Both are buried on site with other family members and slaves.

Currently, the site features trails, a picnic area, bathrooms and a fishing pond.
