The KBC Fall Classic

What: The KBC Fall Classic is a catch and release bass tournament, one where everyone can compete. This tournament is paddle only (kayak or canoe) or fishing on the bank in beautiful November weather with friends having a great time.

Why: Currently in our local area there are no fishing tournaments that allow anglers to fish in a kayak or canoe, let alone on the bank.  Enter KBC! We want to bring quality fishing competitions to the 417 area that have a low entry fee and help give back to the community. That is why in the Fall Classic we will be giving back to the City of Lamar Parks & Recreation Office. We chose Lamar Lake for it’s quality fishing, and can be large enough to host a large size competition for kayak, bank & canoe anglers. We hope to see you out there and stay tuned for future fishing tournaments.

• Where: Lamar Lake
• When: November 3rd, 2018
• Tournament Time: 8:00am -12:00pm
• Fish Species: Bass
• Length Tournament

Entry Fee: $20

• $2 Daily fishing permit
• $3 Daily boating permit
• $5 will be donated to City of Lamar Parks and Recreation Office
• $10 will be used as pool for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers in the tournament.
  • 1st place will receive 50% of pool
  • 2nd place will receive 30% of pool
  • 3rd place will receive 20% of pool
