Update:

Interesting turn of events! Prairie state park has decided to host a guided hike ontop of our event! They cought wind of the excitement we created and decided to plan on the same day and time. I’m going to have to cancel what we had planned and have everyone signup under them.

Call them at 417-843-6711 to signup. They plan on having 50 people.

Meeting at 12:00 pm at the visitor center. We will hike 5 miles crossing a few trails to increase our chances to see bison. Expect small creek crossings and slight altitude change of 200ft. This is a family friendly easy hike. No dogs due to the fact of the bison. Always make sure you dress for the weather and pack enough water.
