After receiving special permission from the owner of Dogpatch USA. My friend Cindy and I decided we would explore the cave that’s also known as the trout spring. Was told it goes back 250ft, however, seems less. For most of the trip its a belly crawl with about three rooms you can sit and partly stand. We did see some wildlife in the cave from bats, salamanders, spiders, and crickets.
The pipe seen in the video was used to bring water out of the back of the cave to the trout farm. I could only imagine how much work that would have been. Most of the spots are small and involved laying in the water to squeeze past.
